Wholesome Halloween Fun—No Sugar Shock Required!
Makes 12 deviled eggs

Ingredients:
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, halved
- 3 tablespoons soy-free mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 2 dashes Tabasco sauce or 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/8-1/4 teaspoon sea salt to taste
- 1/8-1/4 teaspoon pepper to taste
- Whole black olives
Directions:
- Rinse the eggs with warm water and place them in a small saucepan.
- Cover the pan with cold water, place it over medium-high heat, and bring to a boil.
- Turn off the heat, cover, and let sit for 10-12 minutes.
- Drain, rinse under cold water, and peel.
- Cool in the refrigerator, loosely covered, for 15 minutes.
- Cut eggs in half lengthwise.
- Slip out yolks into a bowl and mash.
- Stir in mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Tabasco/vinegar, sea salt, and pepper.
- Fill each egg white with about 1 1/2 teaspoons of the egg-yolk mixture
- Cut whole olives in half lengthwise.
- Put one half on mashed yolks for the spider’s body.
- Thinly slice the other half of the olive for the spider’s legs and put four legs on each side.
- Place on an orange plate
